For the past two years, the St. Louis BJD Convention has hosted a Spring Fling event, and we have had a blast. This year, we pushed the event into June, and in honor of Davie Bowie we're using a Labyrinth theme.
FOOD: This event is pot-luck. We will bring some snacks to share and we encourage you to do the same. We will have some soft drinks (Tea, soda).
RAFFLES: As usual, we will have some awesome raffles to offer.
CHARITY: The OBC Food Pantry is our favorite charity. Please bring canned goods, nonperishable food items, personal care products, consumable paper goods, and the like to donate. Donations will earn you raffle tickets!
CAN'S LABYRINTH: Donations will be artfully arranged to create a "Labyrinth" scene for our dolls to pose in. Feel free to participate in the creation of the scene!
DEALERS: In addition to providing sale table space for individual sales, there are some new dealers this year so don't forget your wallet!
THE GOBLIN KING: Jareth will be making a special appearance. You don't want to miss that!
COSTUMES: Encouraged for both humans and dolls, but not required. Wear your most comfortable clothes.
PHOTOS: Last year's photo areas were a huge hit, so we're going to offer more fun photo ops this year!
ACTIVITY: We will have a special space set aside to create your very own pair of faerie wings for your doll. Materials provided, while supplies last.
SHAKESPEARIAN DREAM: Shakespeare in the park is performing A Midsummer Night's Dream in Forest Park later that night. Toss your camp chairs in the car and join in on the fun after our meet!
